We know Gavin Turek can sing and shake it, but we know more importantly that her songwriting chops are what’s gotten her noticed in the first place. Turek’s still at the forefront of producing and collaborating with some of today’s rising electronic stars (Tokimonsta, Com Truise) and lending her voice when she can to other popular projects (Paper Diamond, Viceroy, Goldroom). However, it’s nice to hear a new tune from Turek that’s all her own. Her latest single “Remember” drips with disco touches and her honeyed vocals. It’s sweet but bumps with some ’80s grooves as well, thanks to producer Harlan Silverman.
