It’s a mad, mad, mad Monday:
‣ Cibo Matto, back with “Hotel Valentine,” their first album since 1999, visit the El Rey Theatre.
‣ Kentucky sextet Sleeper Agent heads up the lineup at It’s a School Night at Bardot, joined by Broods, Early Winters and Say Say.
‣ Kan Wakan, joined by a string section, finishes up its residency at the Echoplex. Holy Folk opens, and the night also promises sets from two special guests.
‣ Upstairs at the Echo, Kera & the Lesbians bid farewell to their residency, supported by Sanglorians, Insects vs. Robots and LA Witch.
‣ Busy Living winds up its stand at the Satellite, with Cillie Barnes, Fim and Wise Cub joining in on closing night.
‣ And the New Electric Sound rocks the Silverlake Lounge for a fourth and final Monday, supported by Twin Ponies, Moonroof and Memoir.
