Moby, Little Dragon and Phantogram will be joined by the likes of Gramatik, Beats Antique, Amon Tobin, Gold Panda, the Gaslamp Killer and Simian Mobile Disco at this year’s Lightning in a Bottle Festival – being held this year at a new location, the Lake San Antonio Recreation Area near Bradley, Calif., a little more than an hour north of San Luis Obispo.
The festival will be held May 22-26. Tickets are $260 for a weekend pass and $195 for a two-day pass. Camping options are available, as well as round-trip bus transportation from L.A., San Francisco, San Diego and Santa Cruz.
The festival, staged by The DoLab (the folks who celebrate their 10th year hosting a stage in the middle of the Coachella grounds this April), offers a melding of electronic music, installation art, performance art (including perennial favorites the Lucent Dossier Experience) and self-improvement activities such as yoga, workshops and motivational gatherings.
