With nods to Magritte and the Echo Park neighborhood that birthed the band, local sextet NO unveiled the video today for its dramatic single “Leave the Door Wide Open.” We begin at Origami Vinyl (happy fifth birthday to that record shop, by the way) and cross Sunset to El Prado, the craft beer and wine bar that lends its name to NO’s debut album “El Prado,” which came out Feb. 18. We talked about the song when it was released in January, so the biggest question here is: Wait, the protagonist gets a shot of whiskey at a beer-and-wine bar? I guess you have to know somebody.
