‣ It’s a big Burgerama warmup show at the Observatory – the Orwells, Twin Peaks, Corners, Thee Rain Cats, Bronch,  L.A. Witch, Criminal Hygiene and more rock the O.C. venue in preparation for the Saturday/Sunday festival there. That’s the Orwells’ video for “The Righteous One,” above.
‣ Kraftwerk continue their tour de catalog, playing “Computer World” and “Techno Pop” at Disney Hall
‣ The Lonely Wild holds forth at the Roxy Theatre, supported by the Apache Relay and the Soil & the Sun.
‣ North Carolina’s Lost in the Trees, down to a four-piece from the six-member orchestral lineup employed on its 2012 album, headline the Echo behind its new album “Past Life,” with Icy Demons, Hi Ho Silver Oh supporting.
‣ Brooklyn indie-rockers Milagres visit the Satellite behind their new album “Violent Light,” but get there early for Brazilian quartet Boogarins, who were one of our SXSW discoveries.
‣ New Orleans funkster Galactic bring the party to the El Rey Theatre, supported by Brushy One String.
‣ Canadian purveyors of pop noir the Belle Game play the Bootleg Bar, supported by Ski Lodge.
‣ And at the Echoplex, it’s Nobunny, Hunx & His Punx, Shannon & the Clams and Cherry Glazerr.
