Friday, oh Friday, you make decisions so hard:

‣ Philadelphia sensations the War on Drugs play a sold-out show at the Troubadour behind their sophomore album “Lost in the Dream.” White Laces support.
‣ U.K. pop explorer Dan Croll [see “From Nowhere”] visits the El Rey Theatre behind his debut album “Sweet Disarray.”
‣ L.A. neo-soul ensemble Caught a Ghost [that’s Jesse Nolan and Tessa Thompson pictured above] celebrates next week’s release of the debut album “Human Nature” with a show at the Bootleg Bar, supported by Decorator, Darklands, Intergalactix.
‣ First Fridays at the Natural History Museum brings Mikal Cronin and Tijuana Panthers to the North American Mammal Hall, along with, appropriately (and for early arrivals), a tour titled “Tracking and Trapping L.A.’s Wildlife.”
The Record Company celebrates the release of its new EP, “Feels So Good,” with a show at the Satellite that also features the Janks and Austin trio Ume.
Mystery Skulls heads up a great local lineup at the Viper Room, along with Bruce Parker, Falling Doves, Dekades and Teleskopes.
‣ And there’s another great lineup of L.A. bands at the Church on York, with Tashaki Miyaki, Cherry Glazerr, Joel Jerome and L.A. Witch.

Note: The Ben Watt show at the Echo has been postponed.
