Coachella draws closer and so do some its performers:

‣ Swedish electronic duo the Knife warm up for their Friday night Coachella appearance at the Fox Theater Pomona, and as always with shows featuring Karin and Olof Dreijer, the performance figures to be high-concept theater. The troupe for their “Shaking the Habitual Tour” numbers 22, including dancers, musicians, performance artists and a “deep aerobics” specialist. Figures to be a sonic and visual spectacle.
‣ En route to his Sunday night main-stage performance at Coachella, Beck does the first of two nights at Santa Barbara’s  Arlington Theatre.
‣ Ingrid Michaelson, whose new album “Lights Out” comes out next week, plays the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
‣ Australian five-piece Boy & Bear headlines the Troubadour behind its album “Harlequin Dream,” supported by Wildlife.
‣ Portland’s STRFKR is headed for Coachella too (they play Sunday) – but first, a date at the Roxy Theatre with Painted Palms.
‣ And there’s a super local lineup at the Satellite – the Dead Ships, Warships and Dream Boys.
