Who: Classixx in the Mojave Tent
In 3 or Fewer Words: Lots of guests
Memorable Because: Classixx, one of many L.A. acts playing Coachella this year, brought their friends along to the desert. The Preatures, who were already in attendance because of their main stage set on Friday, joined them on stage for the remix of “Is This How You Feel?” as the first song (although Isabella Manfredi seemed a little lost attempting to sing during this rendition), Jona Bechtolt and Claire L. Evans of YACHT joined the duo on the remix of “Psychic City,” Sarah Chernoff of Superhumanoids joined them on “A Stranger Love” and Nancy Whang of the Juan MacLean and LCD Soundsystem joined them on “All You’re Waiting For.” Classixx also performed “I’ll Get You” with member Tyler Blake providing the vocals in place for Jeppe Laurrsen of Junior Senior. Their other songs without guests sufficed but nonetheless it was a fun time.
