‣ Mr. Little Jeans – the nom de tune of L.A.-based Norwegian singer Monica Birkenes – headlines the Roxy Theatre behind her new album “Pocketknife.” Opening are Avid Dancer and Breakfast.
‣ Folk singer/raconteur Sean Rowe, who’s finishing up work on the follow-up album to 2012’s acclaimed “The Salesman and the Shark,” visits the Hotel Café. Also playing this evening: Tyler Lyle, Rachel Goodrich, James Bowers and Addison Scott.
‣ Musician/funny man Reggie Watts holds forth at the Church on York.
‣ Riverside-bred rapper T. Mills brings his “All I Wanna Do” tour to the El Rey Theatre; his EP by that name came out in February.
‣ British singer-songwriter David Gray, who has a new album “Mutineers” on the way June 17, performs at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre,
‣ And Dean Wareham does an in-store at Amoeba. The Galaxie 500 main man released a self-titled solo album earlier this year.
