‣ The Stagecoach Country Music Festival winds up at the Empire Polo Club with a lineup that includes Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, John Prine and Asleep at the Wheel.
‣ David J & the Gentlemen Thieves plays Los Globos behind his new album “An Eclipse of Ships” – on which the Bauhaus/Love and Rockets luminary covers Britney Spear’s “Toxic.” That’s the video (featuring Adrian H & the Wounds), above.
‣ Experimental psych-rockers HOTT MT headline the Bootleg Bar, supported by Moon Honey, Kissing Cousins and Washing Machines.
‣ The Grand Ole Echo is back in swing, with the Paul Chesne Band and Fairbanks heading up the lineup at the Echo. Doors at 3 p.m.
‣ The Cold & Lovely play a benefit show for the Rock ’n’ Roll Camp for Girls L.A. at the Satellite.
‣ And King Washington kicks off a West Coast tour by playing the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro.
