Nickel Creek, back with a new album titled “A Dotted Line,” does a sold-out show at the Wiltern, supported by Secret Sisters.
‣ New music in tow, Dead Sara winds up its mini-tour of L.A. venues with a show at the Satellite, supported by Giver and Rival Tides.
‣ SoCal native Colyn Cameron brings his Portland-based band Wake Owl to the Echo behind its March release, “The Private World of Paradise.” Mimicking Birds open.
‣ L.A. duo Midnight Faces join Sweden’s Melpo Mene and new L.A. quartet Sego at the monthly “Blind Date” night at the Bootleg. That’s Midnight Faces’ video for “Hold Tight,” above.
‣ A night after rocking the Observatory, Band of Skulls goes acoustic at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
‣ And indie-rockers Dreamland continue their residency at the Silverlake Lounge, where a jam-packed lineup features Jutty Ranx, XO and Teleskopes.
