‣ Liars play the Fonda Theatre behind their new album “Mess,” with and Cherry Glazerr opening.
‣ Panda Bear (Noah Lennox of Animal Collective) previews music from an album coming later this year at his show at the El Rey Theatre.
‣ Australian power trio Wolfmother rocks the Echoplex behind its new album “New Crown.”
‣ With his Black Crowes back on hiatus, the Rich Robinson Band has a new album coming out next week. It’s titled “The Ceaseless Sight,” and the band will play a bunch of it tonight at the Satellite, with Crusade opening.
‣ Vienna-based electronic composer SOHN [see “Lessons”] visits the Troubadour behind his debut album “Tremors.” Mr. Little Jeans opens. Above, Sohn’s video for “ARtifice.”
‣ Australia’s Chet Faker plays the Roxy Theatre, supported by Sweater Beats.
