KCSNnew-large copyIt’s the first Sunday of a new month, and I’m feeling all … new. So I have an inordinate number of pristine songs and fresh faces in store for tonight’s L.A. Buzz Bands Show on KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming at KCSN.org). Tune in at 9 p.m. when the show blasts off with a brand-new song from EFG (Electric Flower Group, the triumvirate of Imaad Wasif, Josh Garza and Tom Biller). They’re one of the bands playing the Buzz Bands LA-curated Chinatown Summer Nights on June 14, and tonight’s show will feature a few more artists who will rock downtown L.A. that night – Babes, StaG, Kera & the Lesbians and RAJ. As for other new things, I’ll have fresh songs from Run Run Run, White Arrows, French Style Furs and Joe Purdy and tunes from probably-new-to-you artists Moke Hill, Wild Awake, Some Go Haunting and Camcorder. After the jump, the playlist (subject to last-minute tweaks):

EFG, “Singing Bridges”
