Strangeheart, Kiven tabbed to play L.A. Zoo’s summertime ‘Roaring Nights’ series

Electro-pop quartet Strangeheart and L.A. rockers Kiven will headline the first two installments of “Roaring Nights,” the annual summer series that brings music and nightlife to the Los Angeles Zoo.
The series, which kicks off June 27, features pop-up zookeeper talks and animal encounters, DJ sets, food trucks and full-service bars. Tickets for the events, which are 18-and-older, are $18 ($15 for zoo members). Kiven holds forth at the July 25 event; a headliner has not yet been announced for Aug. 22.
