It’s Tuesday – album-release day for local bands like Kitten, Bad Suns, A House for Lions and Imperial Mammoth. and a day you can see these people:

‣ Alabama-based soul septet St. Paul & the Broken Bones [pictured] visit the El Rey Theatre behind their album “Half the City.” Ethan Tucker opens.
‣ Two bands each with new albums – Texas trio Spanish Gold (Patrick Hallahan of My Morning Jacket, Dante Schwebel of City and Colour and Adrian Quesada of Brownout) and Nashville’s Clear Plastic Masks – team up for a show at the Troubadour.
‣ Expect the Moth & the Flame to preview some new material when they headline the Bootleg HiFi tonight. Imperial Mammoth is opening and celebrating the release of their full-length album “Gold Confetti.”
‣ And at the Pantage Theatre, it’s the legendary Steve Winwood, supported by Cris Jacobs.
