BEDROCKtoberfest – the one-day music and magic festival that Bedrock LA debuted last year – returns Saturday, Sept. 20, with a musical lineup curated by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner. It will include a performance by Head Wound City, which in 2005 has a one-EP life as a hardcore supergroup – featuring Jordan Blilie and Cody Votolato of the Blood Brothers, Justin Pearson and Gabe Serbian of the Locust, and Zinner.

L.A. duo Deap Vally, whose new album Zinner is producing, is also playing the event
in and around Bedrock LA (1623 Allesandro St.), the Echo Park hub for recording, rehearsals and music equipment rental. Additions to the lineup are expected to be announced soon.

The day will also feature performers curated by the Academy of Magical Arts, including International Brotherhood of Magicians gold medal-winner Arthur Trace, along with Eric Buss and Handsome Jack.

The event is hosted by German DJ Flula.
