With the O.C. quintet Steelwells currently off the radar, multi-instrumentalist Billy Kim is exploring some new musical horizons. Writing, mixing and producing under the name King Cosa, Kim has debuted his new project Milo Bloom with the sensual electro-R&B track “Summer Nights.” Greg Fletcher takes the vocal lead here, crooning over stuttering and oozing synths, and Steelwells percussionist Jon Bradley also lends a hand with production. “Summer Nights” feels like one of those evenings you work up a sweat and then find a merciful breeze somewhere. Cool down.
