Ex-Dum Dum Girl and ex-Vivian Girl Frankie Rose came into her own over three solo albums, especially with 2012’s fuzz-tastic “Interstellar” and last year’s astral “Herein Wild.” On July 1, Rose’s side project with guitarist Drew Citron, Beverly, will release a full-length titled “Careers,” a collection of nifty popgazing that recalls the prickly-sweet sounds of ’80s/’90s British indie outfits like the Flatmates and the Primitives. (The duo cites the Amps and the Clean as inspiration, so tips of the cap there.) “Honey Do” originally appeared on Kanine Records’ Record Store Day compilation, and on the album its fizzy fun will be augmented by songs like decidedly post-punk rockers “You Can’t Get It Right” and “Planet Birthday.”
