‣ NYC duo The Knocks will help you get “Comfortable” (that’s the title of their latest EP) at the Echoplex, where they’re supported by ASTR and DWNTWN.
‣ It’s a night of heady experimental music at Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park – the free summer concert series brings psych-dub duo Peaking Lights, along with Pharoahs, to the park for a show presented and DJ’d by the folks from Dublab.
‣ Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy, who last month released his 10th solo album, “Lion,” holds forth at the El Rey Theatre.
‣ Long-running punk band Death rocks the Roxy Theatre, supported by the Underground Railroad to Candyland.
‣ At the Greek Theatre, it’s iconic folk singer Joan Baez, supported by the Indigo Girls.
‣ And proceed at your own risk: It’s Queen with Adam Lambert at the Forum.
