Keyboard-driven rock trio Crash Kings, already at work on a follow-up to last year’s album “Dark of the Daylight,” will headline the 76th Annual Chinatown Mid-Autumn Moon Festival on Saturday, Sept. 13.
The band – brothers Tony and Mike Beliveau and Tommy Rose – will be joined by fast-rising rock quartet Dorothy, dance-music phenoms Beat Club, SD3 (the new project from singer-songwriter Cary Brothers), garage-rock duo the Singles and indie-rock trio Run Things.
The music goes off starting at 6 p.m. on the LA Weekly Live Music Stage, located opposite the Grand Star Jazz Club just south of Chinatown’s Central Plaza (943 N. Broadway). The festival also offers a craft beer garden (opposite the music stage), food trucks and a host of cultural events, art and artisan installations, culinary displays and family activities as well.
RSVP to the Facebook event page. After the jump, set times for Sept. 13:
