Moon Block Party moves to Pomona Fairplex; BRMC, the Black Angels, Band of Skulls, Tinariwen, the Black Lips, Metz and more to play Oct. 18

The Moon Block Party is growing up to be big and strong.

Launched three years ago in the Pomona Arts Colony, the festival this year is moving the Pomona Fairplex, where Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the Black Angels and Band of Skulls will headline on Oct. 18.

The deep lineup for the all-ages event, which features music on three stages, also includes Tinariwen, the Black Lips, Metz, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Deap Vally and Shannon & the Clams, among others. And tickets are a very reasonable $45 ($85 for a deluxe package).
