‣ A co-residency at the Echo sees British dance-rock four-piece Fenech-Soler joining up with local indie-rockers Soft Swells [pictured]. Supporting on opening night is are Strange Babes and Lady Lazarus.
‣ Lou Barlow is doing an acoustic show at Harvard & Stone, where he’s joined by Joel Jerome & Babies On Acid.
‣ London-based singer-songwtier Jack Garratt makes his first L.A. appearance, playing It’s a School Night at Bardot along with Charlotte OC, Maudlin Strangers and Great Caesar.
‣ Linus Young winds up a a residency at the Bootleg HiFi along with James Alan.
‣ Long Beach quartet Fathers & Suns kick off a residency at the Silverlake Lounge, supported by Sweet Bump It, Blackwater Jukebox and the Drizz.
‣ And KCRW host/music supervisor for film and television/author Gary Calamar plays the Mint behind his forthcoming EP of original songs. The industry showcase also features short sets from Dirty Vegas, Hamish Anderson and more.
