‣ Southern California-bred quintet Delta Spirit does the first of three L.A. shows behind their new album “Into the Wide” at the Satellite.
‣ Brooklyn quartet Bear Hands visit the Roxy Theatre behind their latest album “Distraction,” with Fences opening.
‣ Nashville rockers Paper Route take on the Bootleg HiFi behind their new album “The Peace of Wild Things. Opening are yOya, the Cairos and Sheare.
‣ Liverpool indie-rockers Circa Waves, on their first U.S. tour, play the Echo along with Wild Party and BORNS. Above, Circa Waves’ video for the title track from their first EP, “Young Chasers.”
‣ The annual Halloween-week show “Murder Ballads: A Tribute to Crimes of Passion” goes off at the Echoplex, featuring a lineup this year of Joel Jerome, Spindrift, Z Berg, Bloody Death Skull, Old Testament, Rachel Fannan, Pearl Charles, the Zmed Brothers, Cal King, Bobby London, Skin & Bones, Honey Child and Jenny Luna.
‣ And two Tuesday night residencies wrap their October runs – Popheart (with Mini Bear and L.A. Drones) at the Silverlake Lounge and Rachel Goodrich & the Grrrls [“MonstA Mash”] at Harvard & Stone.
