Long Beach-based trio Tijuana Panthers have spent a good chunk of their year playing shows across the pond in support of their latest album “Wayne Interest.” They return to the States but only to go back out on the road for a slew of dates along the west coast with Mariachi El Bronx. To celebrate this leg of the tour, Tijuana Panthers release a video for “Torpedo,” a track that is about speed and nothing else. From the chugging guitar lines to the non-stop cymbals, the song is paired with a blur of black-and-white images that may lack clarity but contain just as much momentum as the band themselves. Tijuana Panthers’ Richard Swift-produced album “Wayne Interest” is out now via Innovative Leisure.
