Stream: Mirror Days, ‘Close to Real’

Some days you feel grounded, others you feel as if – to cop a line from one of our favorite travelers – you’re floating in space. Mirror Days’ new “Solstice” EP is for the latter; it’s the solo work of Michigan-bred songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Graham Harrington, who keeps his gaze toward the ground and his head in the clouds as he fashions lush, ambient dream-pop. We professed our admiration for bedroom shoegazers when we shared the EP’s first single “Window” in September; here’s hoping Harrington has more fruitful sessions there.
