An intimate, low-key vibe ruled for most of Friday night’s show at the First Unitarian Church headlined by Kurt Vile and the Violators – there was free pizza on the way in, a bar in the courtyard and a polite, enthusiastic crowd for the Philadelpia singer-songwriter’s career-spanning set. Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa joined the band at the end, which included a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Downbound Train.” Dallas indie-rockers Air Review played an uplifting set of the music from their album “Low Wishes,” and Atlanta’s Little Tybee preceded with a set of string-flecked folk music from their 2012 album “For Distant Viewing.”
