â–º Art-punk quartet Sego kick off a residency at the Bootleg HiFi, supported by the Moth & the Flame, Mount Saint and Pratley. Buzz Bands LA co-presents the night; we’ll be on hand on spin tunes between the sets. Above, the video for the title track to Sego’s debut EP, “Wicket Youth.”
â–º It’s a School Night dives into 2015 with pop-rock dynamo Conway heading up the lineup at Bardot, joined by Tess Henley, Australia’s Conrad and Miles Tackett.
â–º Electro-pop fun bunch Holychild start their residency at the Echo, supported by Thrillers and Strange Babes.
â–º At the Satellite, it’ll be indie quintet Wildling on Monday nights this month, joined on opening night by City City, Lemmo and Rosechild.
â–º Sibling duo the Fontaines bring their “new-wop” to the Silverlake Lounge for the first of four Mondays.
â–º Singer-songwriter Zane Carney’s residency at the Hotel Café was extended through January, and he plays on a night that also features Josh Kelley, Honey County and Hewan.
