â–º The Budos Band visits the Regent Theater behind their latest album “Burnt Offering,” with Death Valley Girls supporting.
â–º Stooges guitarist James Williamson (with guests Alison Mosshart, Jello Biafra, Lisa Kekaula, Joe Cardamone and more) plays songs from his solo album “Re-Licked,” a collection of re-imagined rarities he co-wrote with Iggy Pop, at the Bootleg HiFi. The Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs and the Richmond Sluts open.
â–º Long Beach rapper Vince Staples holds forth at the Echolpex. Antwon opens.
â–º The “Best Damn New Orleans Band From L.A.” — Vaud & the Villains — headline the Troubadour, supported by the Blazing Rays of the Sun.
â–º The Muffs do a show at the Satellite behind their most recent album “Whoop De Doo,” with Summer Twins and Inger Lorre (the Nymphs).
â–º Jimmy Gnecco continues his residency at the Viper Room, with Sad Robot and Sleep Machine opening.
â–º San Francisco’s Geographer visits the Glass House in Pomona, where they are joined by Haunted Summer and Smoke Season.
â–º And at the Mint, it’s Goodnight Moonshine, but get there early for Brian Lopez. Gun Hill Royals, Best of Friends and Quinn Archer play between Lopez and the headliner.
