There are few bands around that scream positivity quite like L.A. septet the Mowgli’s, and they do that in spades on their new song “I’m Good.” After touring relentlessly supporting their debut record “Waiting for the Dawn,” they hit the studio with bonafide hitmakers Tony Hoffer (The Kooks, Fitz & the Tantrums), Captain Cuts (Smallpools, Tove Lo) and Matt Radosevich (One Direction, Walk the Moon) to work on their sophomore album, “Kids in Love,” out on April 14. Where lead single “Through the Dark” was one of the slower tracks we’ve heard from the chronically upbeat band, “I’m Good” finds them back at their most cheerful selves. A demo version of the song appeared in a video from the Band Together Project, who aim to “spread a message of hope, positivity and acceptance”, a motto which has “Mowgli’s” written all over it.
