On April 14, Rhino will release the eight-disc set “The Replacements: The Studio Albums 1981-1990,” a collection of the seven full-lengths and one EP the influential Minneapolitans released during their first run. They band’s current lineup — Paul Westerberg, Tommy Stinson, Dave Minehan and Josh Freese — kicks off their “Back By Unpopular Demand Tour” the week before in Seattle.
The boxed set was announced today with a photo of the band’s edit of the press release. It’s funny. The red marks are Stinson’s.
