IndependentFM-square copyBy my count, there are more than 150 Los Angeles artists playing the South by Southwest Music Festival next week in Austin — and those are just the ones with official showcases. The “unofficial” parties (including our own “Dear Austin, Love L.A.” showcase) attract a lot more. Which is a long way of saying that a lot of good bands won’t be repped in my playlist today on The Independent FM. But, starting at 11 a.m., I’ll have two hours of SXSW x LA music — I even talk really fast so I can cram in more music. Check out my playlist and a stream of the show after the jump. Apologies to those I left out. Talk to you next week from Austin.
