Video: TÜLIPS, ‘Wait’

There have been some recent big changes in the local riot grrrl outfit TÜLIPS. Rocking a new drummer and bassist, Travis Moore and Miles Faster respectively, these riot gazers are now an unstoppable four-piece flaunting the lineup in their new video for “Wait” off of their Cassingle “Wait” and “Hotspur” released last August. The low-fi DIY video represents their colorful and flirtatious style fit with disco balls, fuzzing highlights and of course, tulips. Somewhat inspired by Taleen Kali and Angie Bloom’s recent hair coloring and the spirit of simply doing things themselves. Kali adds, “Also, it’s another video featuring our friends! That’s always the best part of making music, getting to dance and get weird with our friends.”
