After a week off (I was busy roaming around the desert), the Buzz Bands LA Show returns to The Independent FM today with two hours of local tunes, including a segment featuring bands playing the one-day Brokechella festival on Saturday. Join me at 11 a.m. for tunes from Brokechella artists such as Dutch Party, Smoke Season, Anabot, The Singer & The Songwriter and Moon Honey, along with new music from Dustin Lovelis, Glorious Wonder, Froth, Nicky Blitz and Wandering Gypsies. I’ll have a four-song blast of songs I heard L.A. artists perform at Coachella — Night Terrors of 1927, Saint Motel, Chicano Batman and Jenny Lewis (doing a Rilo Kiley song)  — and tunes from recent album releases by Winter, Avid Dancer and Nedelle Torrisi.
