Squarepusher served up a feast for the eyes as well as the ears on Monday night when he brought his live show to the Regent Theater in downtown L.A. for a Coachella “add-on” show. The U.K. artist, aka Tom Jenkinson, paired his forward-thinking drum ’n’ bass music with futuristic visuals for the capacity crowd. Squarepusher, whose new album “Damogen Furies” comes out next week, performs the late set tonight in the Gobi Tent at Coachella. Opening the Regent show was Canadian pop experimentalist Lydia Ainsworth, performing songs from her acclaimed album “Right for Real.”
