Video: Dead Sara, ‘Something Good’

Like their 2012 debut, Dead Sara’s sophomore album “Pleasure to Meet You” takes no prisoners, vigorously and almost defiantly rooting around in hard rock’s musty corners for new knives to sharpen and teeth to bare. It was not an easy path for the L.A. quartet from their first album to their new one, so if actor/director Giovanni Ribisi’s video for “Something Good” seems like a guerilla celebration, it just might be. Here’s the band — singer Emily Armstrong, guitarist-singer Siouxsie Medley, bassist Chris Null and drummer Sean Friday — take to the Gold Line between Union Station and Pasadena, inciting much excitement. Think of it as a different kind of shredding.
