Brooklyn duo Tanlines showed both sides of their musical persona to a packed house at the Echoplex on Monday night — the electro-pop side displayed on their first album “Mixed Emotions” in 2012 and the more guitar-driven music on their new album “Highlights.” The duo of Jesse Cohen and Eric Emm, backed by a full band, split their set almost evenly between the two albums, finishing their main set with old songs “All of Me” and “Real Life” and returning for an encore of the new single “Invisible Ways” and their biggest song from the 2012 album, “Not the Same.” OOFJ — the duo of Danish composer Jenno Bjørnkjær and South African vocalist Katherine Mills-Rymer — opened the show with selections from their sophomore album “Acute Feast.”
