Orange County-based Well Hung Heart continue to prove that they love rock ’n’ roll at least as much as Joan Jett. The band — singer-keyboardist Greta Valenti and U.K ex-pat Robin Davey on guitar and bass, abetted by drummer Kevin Conroy — has unleashed two furious full-lengths of old-school hard stuff, 2013’s “Young Enough to Know It All” and last year’s “Go Forth and Multiply.” Their veins aren’t dry, as evidenced by the new single “Throw It All Away,” an anthem of spiritual departure that finds Davey’s muscular riffs coalescing with Valenti’s wail. It’s planned for a self-titled EP that Well Hung Heart will release on Sept. 1. Davey directed the video, which features actress Lisa Ophoven and sees the trio getting in your face in the same way that won them “best live band” honors at the O.C. Music Awards. This one goes on your ear-splitting road-trip playlist along with Dead Sara and Dorothy.
