The Weepies [more here] play the Fonda Theatre behind their new album “Sirens,” with the Silent War supporting.
► Sweden’s Seinabo Sey visits the El Rey Theatre behind her strong debut, “For Madeleine,” with L.A. trio James Davis opening. That’s Sey’s vidieo for “Younger,” above.
Joseph Arthur’s new album is titled “Days of Surrender,” and the singer-songwriter-visual artistpodcaster visits the Troubadour, where he’s joined by Jill Sobule.
► It’s Lupe Fiasco and Charles Hamilton at the House of Blues Sunset Strip
► Garage-rockers Drenge headline the Satellite, supported by the New Regime and Sister Mystery.
► And Broken Arrow (Brandi Emma and Charlie Clark, with a bunch of new songs in tow) play the Hotel Café on a night that also features Devon Werkheiser, Marcus Eaton and Jillette Johnson.
