Chicago rapper Vic Mensa turned a capacity crowd at the Echoplex into a frenzied, moshing sea of bodies on Thursday night. Yes, much sweat was sweated. The 22-year-old debuted a new collaboration with Skrillex, titled “3 AM,” and covered Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness,” along with performing favorites such as “Down on My Luck,” “YNSP,” “Holy Holy,” “Wolves” and, to finish the night “U Mad.” Wes Period opened.
