► Nate Ruess celebrates the release of his solo album “Grand Romantic” with a sold-out show at the Teragram Ballroom.
► Afro-pop/hip-hop alchemists the Very Best [watch “Makes a King”] visits the Roxy Theatre, with Naïve Thieves opening.
► Singer (and “Walking Dead” actress) Emily Kinney winds up a long U.S. tour at the Troubadour in support of her forthcoming debut of pop confessionals, “This Is War” (out Aug. 11). Dylan Gardner and Adam Tressler open.
