So how’s your summer going so far? Hope it’s great. Ours is shaping up to have a fantastic soundtrack, some of which I’ll share today when the Buzz Bands LA Show kicks off at 11 a.m. on The Independent FM. Join me for new music from the Shelters, Superhumanoids, Kisses, Small Wigs, Tijuana Panthers, Lael Neale, Their Wedding, Jutty Ranx, the End of Summer, Ballerina Black, My Dead Air, MXMS, De Lux and more. I’ll nod to the four L.A. bands playing Chinatown Summer Nights on Saturday — the Janks, Alexa Melo, Sneakout and the Fontaines. And over the course of two hours of L.A. tunes, I also promise to sip my coffee very quietly and not jabber too much. The more music the merrier.
