Transplanted Floridians Chris Hess and Adam Winn wear their new Southern California environs well — building on the shapes and sounds of their “Feel” EP (which got a deserved deluxe release last year), their music as SWIMM captures L.A.’s intoxicating vibe while obsessing over its illusory image as the Land Where Dreams Come True. “On the edge of everything / it feels like the whole world / but maybe it’s nothing,” Hess sings on the new single “All the Time,” a free-flowing, psych-rock jam with a tropical flavor. The song is the follow-up to “Beverly Hells,” released earlier this year, and will appear on the EP of that name. It’ll be out Aug. 28.
