The first concerts since the booking responsibilities changed hands at the Bootleg Theater have been announced — including a Sept. 24 date with Blonde Redhead, a show a show co-promoted by Live Nation. Tickets are $30 and on sale here or here.
The venue’s new talent buyer Kyle Wilkerson — who came on board after the venue severed ties with The Fold at the end of June — says he expects shows to resume in early August. Already, seven other shows have been announced, including Six Organs of Admittance, Willis Earl Beal and Velasco.
Blonde Redhead, who last September released their ninth full-length album “Barragán,” is also playing a show (same ticket price) the night prior at Center for the Arts Eagle Rock.
