Tuesday’s concert roundup:
► It’s Van Halen and Kenny Wayne Shepherd at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre.
► Shellac plays the first of two L.A. shows behind their latest album “Dude Incredible,” this one at the Echo, with and Shannon Wright supporting.
► Built to Spill [pictured] does the second of three nights at the Troubadour, with Slam Dunk supporting.
► Two Sheds continue their residency at Harvard & Stone, joined by Buildings Breeding and Ghostporn.
► Drug Cabin have a residency at 3 Clubs, and tonight it features Name The Band, the Burning of Rome and Hi Ho Silver Oh.
► And Alex & Sierra, joined by Danny Mercer, do an acoustic show with some new material at the Hotel Café, where Gracie & Rachel and Maty Noyes also perform.
