► The free Summer of Soul series at the Hammer Museum continues with performances by Sam Sparro and The Rebirth in the museum’s courtyard.
► Ty Segall’s Fuzz rocks the Troubadour, with the Birth Defects and Carletta Sue Kay opening.
► New Orleans roots-rockers the Deslondes play the Roxy Theatre in support of their self-titled debut album. Leslie Stevens opens.
