► Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss team up for a big night at the Greek Theatre.
► Day 1 of of Viva! Pomona brings a lineup including The Spits, La Sera, Prayers, Summer Twins, Ruido Rosa, Maria y Jose, The Gooch Palms, The Gooch Palms, Jesus Sons, Nic Hessler, Triangulo de Amor Bizarro, Los Angeles Police Department, Thrillers, DJ Nombre Apellido, Isaac Rother and the Phantoms, Death Lens, The Two Tens, Gal Pals, Rudy De Anda, Hillary Chillton, Policias Y Ladrones, Pity Party and Johnny Otis Davila to the Glass House in Pomona.
► It’s the second night of Amos Lee and David Gray at the Hollywood Bowl.
► Ho99o9, Kodak to Graph, Azul and more perform as part of Step and Repeat at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA.
► Dorothy rocks the Viper Room, supported by Tinfang and Bad Luna.

Update (6 p.m.): This from the Greek Theatre’s Twitter feed: “Please Note: All Greek Theatre Shows are ‘rain or shine,’ as noted on your ticket. Please wear rain clothes, no umbrellas allowed inside.
Update (5:30 p.m.): The Kati Moreas show at Levitt Pavilion MacArthur Park is cancelled. “Lightning has struck in the area,” organizers reported on Twitter. Additionally, the Mariachi Divas show at Levitt Pavilion Pasadena is rained out.
Update (4:45 p.m.): The Starship/Martha Davis show at Pershing Square downtown has been rained out, according to a post on Davis’s Facebook timeline. “Keep posted for a rain out date,” say concert organizers.
Update (4 p.m.): The Grand Performances show at California Plaza featuring Ondatropica has been cancelled because of the weather. The Hollywood Bowl show is on, rain or shine; umbrellas are not allowed at the Bowl, and ponchos are recommended. No weather-related notices from the Greek Theatre; doors are at 6 p.m., with Alison Krauss scheduled to play at 7:30. MOCA’s “Step and Repeat” is on, as of a 3:30 tweet.
