Thursday’s concerts in L.A.:

► Oklahoma blues-rockabilly revivalist JD McPherson, wining acclaim for his new album “Let the Good Times Roll,” figures to let them roll indeed when he headlines tonight’s edition of the Twilight Concert Series at the Santa Monica Pier. Sarah Gayle Meech joins in.
► The free Summer of Soul series at the Hammer Museum winds up with a show featuring Houston’s the Suffers and L.A. Afro-Latin funk outfit Jungle Fire.
Wye Oak plays Club Bahia in their second L.A. show in as many nights.
► Nashville duo Johnnyswim does a free show at Levitt Pavilion MacArthur Park.
Baths headlines the Echoplex on a night also featuring Wrestlers and L.A. duo OOFJ.
► Rising folk-soul singer Moses Sumney headlines the Echo, supported by Okay Kaya.
► At the Satellite, it’s a big local bill featuring Magic Bronson, Funeral Party, Strangeheart and Deluka at the Satellite
► San Francisco sextet the Stone Foxes, their new album “12 Spells” on the way Sept. 4, play the Mint, supported by Sweet Plot. (The Stone Foxes “Goodnight Moon Project” continues, by the way; bring canned goods or other non-persishables to the show, and the band will donate them to a food bank the next day.)
Fire in the Hamptons head up a big local lineup at the Troubadour, joined by Via Echo, Ghost Lit Kingdom, Forebear and Sympathetic Frequencies.
► And Chris Price plays Molly Malone’s as part of an International Pop Overthrow lineup that features Brandon Schott, Spirit Kid and more.
