Monday’s L.A. concerts:
► Australian newcomer Jarryd James, working on his debut for Interscope produced by Joel Little (Lorde), headlines the Troubadour, with Ofelia K. Check out the videos for James’ two singles below.
► Fakers [see “Gold Room”] kick off their residency at the Echoplex, joined by Vs Colour, Afternoons and Barrows.
► The Bulls [see “Come Unwound”] start a residency at the Satellite that will feature all female-fronted artists this month. Nightjacket, Nancy and Ultra Violent Rays play on opening night.
► Dutch Party, Paper Pilots and Oyls team up for a show at Harvard & Stone.
► Synth-pop trio LANY heads up the lineup at It’s a School Night at Bardot. Andrew St. James, Andy Shauf and James TW also perform.
► And rock quartet Los Angelics have the residency at the Silverlake Lounge, joined tonight by the New Regime and Lost in Atlantis.
