The Echo was sold out on Tuesday night for DJ Windows 98, which is the nom de decks of Win Butler. Apparently $14 is a small price to pay to be in the same room with the Arcade Fire frontman and enjoy his eclectic selections, which on Tuesday included mixing that titanic “Titanic” hit “My Heart Will Go On” straight into Peaches. The focus of the attention was the person onstage dressed in a metallic-looking bodysuit, in keeping with the theme behind Arcade Fire’s monster 2013 release “Reflektor.” (In fact, one young woman kept screaming “Reflektor” throughout the proceedings.) Whoever that person was gets bonus points — it was probably hotter than opener Harriet Brown’s set (which was very hot) — but it wasn’t Win Butler. Mr. Butler was secreted in the back of the room behind the sound board, ostensibly DJing from there. A little smoke and mirrors with your “Reflektor?” Sure, we guess. In other news, a band called Fakers played the Echo the night before.
