Sunday’s L.A. concerts:

► Where has Scott “A.A.” Bondy been? On “hiatus,” as he has said at some of his recent solo shows (six of which in June and July were postponed “due to the loss of someone dear”). His last album, “Believers,” came out in 2011, and his last L.A. show was in 2012. He plays an early show tonight at the Echo with Grandma Sparrow supporting.
Weekend — the great post-punk band, not this dude — rocks Part-Time Punks at the Echo, supported by Amanda X and Spirit of the Beehive. Update: Show has been moved to the Echoplex.
The Spill Canvas do a second night at the Roxy Theatre — performing a set including their 2004 album “Sunsets and Crashes” — with Denny White & the Everyman opening.
